These Terms of Service apply to software, integrations, APIs, technical platforms and related digital services developed or maintained by Smit Research & Development.
1. Scope
Our software and integrations are intended for authorised business use by Smit Research & Development, affiliated organisations, customers and approved business partners.
2. Authorised use
Users and connected systems may only access the services using valid credentials, permissions and API scopes assigned for their intended purpose.
3. Integrations
Connections to third-party platforms are subject to the availability, technical requirements and terms of those providers. We do not control changes made by third-party platforms, APIs or identity providers.
4. Data responsibility
Each connected organisation remains responsible for the accuracy, legality and authorised use of the data supplied through its systems.
5. Security
Users may not attempt to bypass access controls, abuse API limits, interfere with platform operation or use credentials outside their authorised environment.
6. Availability and changes
Software and integrations may be updated, modified or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security or technical reasons.
7. Intellectual property
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, software, integration logic, technical designs and related materials developed by Smit Research & Development remain the intellectual property of their respective rights holder.
8. Limitation
To the extent permitted by law, Smit Research & Development is not liable for interruptions, data errors or failures caused by third-party services, external APIs, infrastructure or unauthorised use.
